It was a fine and sunny day. At 7.55am, Wen Yi woke up, thinking that it was 8.55 as she looked at her analogue watch. Shocked, she jumped out of bed and rushed to wash up. She had to leave house by 9.55am in order to reach sch by 11am and with all the things that she needed to prepare, there was simply not enough time!! She gobbled down her breakfast, hurriedly packed all her stuffs. By 9.45, everything was ready! And off she goes to school!

As she was on 855, Wen Yi was silently thinking to herself, “Finally I am going to be punctual!” When she got on 265, she looked at her watch. There, on the digital watch was written “9.50am” Unable to believe her eyes, she pressed the light button. There, the number 9.50 shown luminously before her eyes… ONE MORE HOUR TO WAIT!!! Gosh…. For that moment, Wen Yi Simply felt like knocking her head on the wall!! How blur can she get!!!

So in the end, Wen Yi went to buy newspaper to read in sch…and also a cup of soya bean! One hour flew past and soon, her friends came and they started to prepare for the camp! At 1pm, the camp started! After Mr Wong’s talk about leadership and and the handover stuffs, we played games!!

Wen Yi was the game master for “Europe”, the helium hoop! It entertained her very much to see all the groups perform their cheer in front of her!!! “VERY NICE AND FUNNY!!!” She said enthusiastically to her friend. Some of the groups even came up with lame and stupid cheers!! Finally at 5.15, all the groups finished playing the games and everyone went to Heidi’s house for the BBQ.

At the BBQ, Wen Yi and her friends had so much fun and laughter! There was Wen Yi’s Junior – her chicken wings- too! And Crystal Loo’s bleeding chicken!

After all the fun, it was time to go home. Wen Yi had a really great time at the Council Camp and she hopes next year’s camp would be as fun as this year’s! YAY!
