I was going home from my ah ma's house. Then we always take Taxi one. So we hailed a taxi. This taxi started off very slow..
Mummy: Uncle, yr car spoil ar?
Taxi Uncle: No, never
I watche from the side and realised it was only 20km/hr. Wierd.
So later, it was a traffic light, and this uncle stopped not at the normal stoppping point but a few metres from the stopping line. Then afters he started off again, 20 km/hr. A few minutes later, he tried to reach for his seat belt. His hand stretched out to the back, trying to feel where is the seat belt. Still, she cannot find where it is. Me and my mum was like, what is he doing? His car is still moving at a snail's pace.
Then afters it reached a junction.
Mummy: Uncle, turn right horr.
Taxi Uncle: No, is the front one
Mummy: Eh? No lahh. Is this one.
Taxi Uncle: This one meh?
It is this one where he was supposed to turn right lahh! He dun even noe his way?!?!?! So later, he turned. ok.. then his car started okok.. 50km/hr or so-so. Until he reached another traffic light. He stopped also a few meters from the stopping line. Then, i felt his car reversing......
Mummy: Uncle, your car reversing leh
Uncle: Never
I was like. OMG. I is obviously reversing lahh!! For a moment, i thought i was going to die on this taxi ride. I saw the look on my mum's face too. This is just too risky!
Mummy: Uncle, we want to alight at AMK Mrt
Uncle: Ok
Mummy: Please cut to the right line
Uncle: Give signal le
His car is in the middle of the white line. A few cars honked at him.
Finally, we alighted. OMG!! can u imagine taking such a scary ride? take note. Never take this silvber cab taxi. 8456.
DUHH!! In the end took an MRT home. NEarly missed the last 806. PHEW. My mum called the taxi company. I wonder what the reply would be. =\ What a close shave!
